1. A listing consultation is about YOU and YOUR GOALS. Why? Every homeowner’s story is different and impacts how we prepare your listing, price your listing, market it, and negotiate the terms of the sale when the right offer comes in.
2. Your house does NOT need to be in “showing condition”. Our listing services include the input of a professional stager, so we’ll get to the business of preparing your house later in the process. You don’t need to declutter, remove wallpaper, or even vacuum for our appointment! We live in houses, too, and ours are rarely in “showing condition”.
3. We’ll come prepared! Prior to our appointment, we’ll have researched the market for your house. Once we get to know you and your goals, this data helps us advise you on how to prepare your house for listing and how to price it in order to accomplish your goals.
4. There is no cost and no obligation with our listing consultations. Inviting us to learn about you and your real estate goals does not obligate you to put your house on the market. We’ll provide you with the data and some insight on how to make your goals and the market meet. If you decide that it’s time to move, we’ll move forward with a more in-depth meeting to set a plan and handle the paperwork!
