It seem a dream not long ago when I was going to be able to say this but Summer is finally here! And with it came the sun, the heat, the humidity and the outdoors! Don’t get me wrong I do appreciate all the stations but there is something really great about not having to bundle up and fight with the kids to get them buried in layers of clothes, enough of that! School is out and we plan so much to keep the kids busy and in some or a lot of activities, lets try not to rush to it, lets enjoy the swimsuits and even with a self conscious mind on the way we look (or what we think in our mind is “acceptable”) lets be happy without judging (us and others) just embrace it and most of all have fun! Kids really grow so fast that one day, even when it seem impossible and away from right now, we will be sitting in a porch wishing this time was back! But in the mid time here are some ideas of nice things around town that are offered for our kids entertainment and to help them relieve some energy (and help us keep it cool) some are free, some you pay a small fee but what we are meaning to do here is to give you options, you’re welcome!

Tons of parks in town to go around the Cities, a new favorite one is the Central park in Maple Grove with fun all year round! Their “Interactive fountain” is a kids favorite and a great way to beat the heat in addition to the playground and the building with an equipment facility, nice bathrooms and lots of green space to sit, its wonderful!
